Overview

Geometry Dash Bloodbath is an extreme demon level created by Riot, known for its difficulty, red-black visuals, and historic gameplay.

This fanmade level was released in 2015 and quickly became. the benchmark for Extreme Demon difficulty in Geometry Dash. Developed by Riot, Bloodbath brought together design influences from levels like Stalemate and Sound Wave, while pushing difficulty beyond any prior standard. Its influence remains iconic to this day.

Visual style and soundtrack

Bloodbath uses a deep red and black theme throughout the entire stage. The visual pressure is consistent: tight corridors, flashing transitions, and precision timing built into the background sync. The soundtrack, "Bloodbath" by F-777, features fast drops and layered beats that raise player focus and tension.

Notable gameplay sections

  • Extreme wave control: Narrow wave segments appear frequently, including extended mirror and dual wave sections.
  • High-speed ship gameplay: The level includes extremely tight flying areas that were considered groundbreaking in 2015.
  • Clubstep monster section (44%): Known as one of the hardest mid-segments, often more difficult than Michigan's UFO and triple spike area.
  • Michigan's part: Features straight flying, hard spikes, and precise UFO-wave transitions. Regarded as the signature of the level's front-half difficulty.

Icon design and customization

Though Bloodbath doesn't offer its own icons, many players associate the red glow and core geometry with superhero themes. Fan creations often link the red cube with visual inspirations drawn from characters like Iron Man or high-speed mech units.

Outside the level, Geometry Dash offers over 140 cube icons, 50 ships, and multiple transformation forms that can be customized based on player progression.

Easter eggs

Bloodbath includes a small hidden area where the player can access a different route and alternate soundtrack. This easter egg doesn't affect the main path but rewards observant players with a small detour challenge.

How to complete it

Many players use the backward strategy, which involves practicing the final segment first, then gradually working toward the start. Though the final half is still demanding, it is considered slightly more manageable than the opening.

Difficulty rating

Bloodbath is officially rated as an Extreme Demon. At release, it was the hardest community level available. Even years later, it remains one of the most respected milestones in Geometry Dash history. Players often take weeks to months to complete it, and thousands of jumps and resets are common.
